I'm not 100% sure but I think the RealTek Definition Audio replaced the Intel High Definition DSP entry. I no longer see Intel High Definition DSP, instead I have RealTek High Definition Audio (SST). More than likely on the manufacturers website, rather than Intel Hi-Def Audio, that is Realtek High. I no longer have any devices that are not recognized. The fix is to go to the support page for your device on the manufacturers website, then download and install the audio device drivers they recommend, those will be compatible with your PC, unlike the ones installed by Windows Update. Once the PC had rebooted I checked the Device Manager. After reboot the installer continued and installed the driver. The Realtek installer first uninstalled the existing driver and required a reboot.
